Biography I studied Real Estate through the KCTCS and Western Kentucky University. I received my real estate license in November 1995 and my Kentucky Certified Residential Real Property Appraiser license in July 1997. I was hired in 2003 as a commercial real estate associate appraiser with George K. Cox & Associates in Owensboro, Kentucky, where I worked directly under Mr. George Cox, who was a nationally recognized real estate valuation expert and consultant, serving as the Chair of the Kentucky Real Estate Appraiser Board for multiple terms. My tenure at George K. Cox & Associates, Inc. centered around providing litigation support and expert witness testimony throughout Western Kentucky until May 2010, when I opened Clay Wells & Associates, Inc., a real estate appraisal and consulting firm. I remain the President of Clay Wells & Associates, Inc. and continue to provide real estate appraisals, consulting, and litigation support.

I have been qualified as a real property valuation expert in numerous Circuit Courts throughout Western Kentucky, approved to complete appraisals on projects where the Federal Aviation Administration has oversight, and I serve on the National Association of Appraisers Industry Partner Alliance Committee. I am also a Candidate of the CCIM Institute. I look forward to using my broad real estate experience and knowledge to help buyers and sellers of commercial real estate achieve their investment goals.
